The food was amazing. The service was the best. Our first time here and I think I did a pretty good job picking it out.

10/10! This place is always so good. The people are always so friendly and sweet! Love going here! We travel a lot and anytime we go through Victoria, we have to stop here. The food is delicious. The aguas frescas are the bomb. The place is so cute and colorful. I wish they served the salsa warm! But other than that, I highly recommend this place simply based off of service. They’re truly so wonderful.

Wow food was absolutely delicious. I ordered chicken Fajitas and it was excellent! Food was also really fast. Oh and I love the salsa that comes with the chips. My daughter ordered kids menu - chicken nuggets with fries. And the fries were well fried although nuggets were a little greasy but not bad at all. Now we know where to visit when in Victoria, TX next time

Y'all I really don't leave a whole lot of food reviews because I'm married to a chef. With that said, I've never bitten into a taco and started dancing ....until now!!! The barbacoa mini taco was THEE best!! It literally melted in my mouth!! My husband got the birria taco and an enchilada (which was also AMAZING)! Everything was delicious including the chips and refried beans, charro beans, sauces, etc. My son got a burger and a chorizo and egg taco, which was HUGE!! At this point, I'm trying to find reasons to go back to Victoria since we live out of town this place is a must when in the area!!

Update 6/30: This place is still great and the staff is awesome and friendly. The food and service still hasn't slipped / gone down. Not a typical tex-mex place. It's inspired by food from Guadalajara, Jalisco. So while the dishes may all have familiar names, their preparation and seasoning is all like that from Jalisco. Family and I came originally for breakfast and ordered a few different things in order to all share. It was great. The barbacoa and guisado were both delicious. The corn tortilla was a proper corn tortilla. Not the dry piece of cardboard you find just about everywhere. It almost tasted like flour and had that consistency. The chilaquiles in red salsa were delicious and crispy. We had eggs over medium and they were done just as ordered. Coffee is serv d in cute little ceramic jars. The beans are also done correctly for the region. Properly whipped and cooked. Not too burned and fried. Was so good we ended up coming back for a late lunch / early dinner before leaving town. Did the same thing where we shared a couple plates. Tried the torta loca which had a few different meats in it and the tampiquena which is a nice cut of meat grilled (think fajita). This was cooked perfect. Not overly chewy or tough. Seasoned just with salt and pepper. Also washed this down with am horchata. Not too sweet. Tasted great and refreshing.

Great things come in small packages!!! The restaurant may be small, but the food is HUGE in flavor and authenticity! The staff are friendly and personable! We wish this restaurant was in our home town! We will be back every time we travel through Victoria.
